Here's who won the voting for Akron Area Girls Coach of the Year for the 2025-26 school year.
Charlie Schrader won the voting for the Akron Area Girls Coach of the Year for the 2025-26 school year.
Charlie Schrader, who coaches the Walsh Jesuit High School softball team, received 53.53% of the votes cast. A total of 7,121 votes were cast overall.

Charlie Schrader, Walsh Jesuit softball
Led the Warriors to a 23-2 season and an appearance in the Division II state semifinals. It was the first state final four appearance since 2016 for the Walsh Jesuit, which won 23 consecutive games against the state's toughest RPI.
