Brenda Brooks, an Ohio school bus driver, received the maximum 18-month jail sentence plus five years probation after pleading guilty to driving under the influence while transporting elementary students. Last fall, she turned the wrong way leaving school, swerved across lanes, and missed stops. A passenger's father had to intervene after the child called home for help. Brooks faced six counts of child endangerment and one DUI charge.
