It is understood the child fell from a window in Woodlands Road, Gillingham
A one-year-old boy is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after reportedly falling from an upstairs window.
Kent Police said it received a call from South East Coast Ambulance Service that paramedics were treating a child who was reported to have fallen from a window of a property in Woodlands Road, Gillingham, at about 18:10 BST on Sunday.
It is understood that the fall was from a flat above a shop.
The child was taken to a London hospital for treatment, police added.
Inquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing, the force said.
