ATLANTA, Understanding the numbers behind a business is critical to long-term success, and an educational session at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) 2026 will show architectural woodwork professionals how to use financial data to make better business decisions.

Presented by Lauren Bourland, COO at Custom Source Woodworking, and sponsored by the Architectural Woodwork Institute, "From Data to Direction: Financial Tools Every Architectural Woodwork Leader Needs" will take place Aug. 26 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in Room B301 at the Georgia World Congress Center.

Designed for business leaders, estimators and project managers, the 90-minute session will cover the financial tools that help companies improve profitability and create more predictable business performance. Attendees will learn how to interpret key financial statements, benchmark their company's performance using data from AWI's Cost of Doing Business Survey, and use financial projections to support strategic planning and decision-making.

According to AWI, the session is intended to help participants better understand the financial metrics that drive successful architectural woodwork businesses while providing practical tools for improving long-term stability.

Advanced registration for the session is $105 through July 31. After that date, on-site registration will be $135. Registration for the educational session is separate from IWF show registration. Adding the session to an attendee's My IWF Show Planner does not register them for the class.
