Cam Skattebo is debuting a new look.

Ahead of the 2026-2027 NFL season, Skattebo is ready for his second season in the league. New photos of the New York Giants star were released this week, which showed Skattebo rocking longer hair than in his rookie year.

Fans were quick to share what they thought of the Giants running back's new hairstyle.

"Is this not the kid from Matilda?" one fan asked on X.

Another fan compared his look to skateboarder Bam Margera.

"Shave the sides and braid it like a viking," a fan suggested.

Skattebo, who is known for her outgoing personality, has yet to weigh in on why he decided to grow out his hair this season, but we're sure in due time that he will let fans know.

Cam Skattebo on next season

Skattebo's rookie year did not go as planned given that he was unable to complete it due to an injury. During Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season, Skattebo suffered from a right ankle dislocation, tibia fracture, and ruptured deltoid ligament. The Giants were facing the Philadelphia Eagles when the injury occurred, as his ankle got caught while trying to complete a pass. He had to receive emergency surgery following the incident.

The injury ultimately ended his rookie season, but he has since been rehabbing to begin his second year in the Giants uniform on time.

Before the injury, he showed a very promising rookie season after rushing for 410 yards and five touchdowns.

He shared back in May that he is ready to begin Week 1 per the Associated Press, and the injury won't have an impact on what fans have been waiting to see from him on the field again.

“It ain’t gonna change who I am," he said last month on The Insiders when asked if he was going to switch up his running style. "I had an injury, you know, it is what it is. I’ve still got plenty of football left, plenty of life left, I’m not going to let this little ankle thing bother me. I’m going to get back [to] running people over like you see on the videos. It’s going to be normal Cam Skattebo from here on out.”
