Disney and LEGO's Bionicle Franchise Beats Transformers

In the minds of many, Transformersis the premier robot franchise of them all, with even some of the most prominent mecha anime brands playing second fiddle to the robots in disguise. This is especially the case with the Generation 1 incarnation, with this original version having a notable, landmark animated movie. That film was also controversial in its own right, but many of the story beats ended up being done much better in a similar franchise several years later.
