EXCLUSIVE, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA) raised $9 million in the second quarter of 2026 in order to help Republicans maintain control of Congress this November.
The haul brings Scalise’s total fundraising tally to $55 million for the cycle, according to his office. Scalise transferred $10.6 million directly to candidates and $10.5 million to the National Republican Congressional Committee. Scalise has brought in $269 million since joining leadership.
Scalise is using the money to help support Republicans in battleground districts, including Reps. Gabe Evans (R-CO) and Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA). Scalise gave Evans $48,000 in the second quarter, increasing the total the freshman Colorado Republican has received from the majority leader this cycle to $394,000.
“Winning tough races is a team effort and requires leaders willing to invest time, resources, and effort to get the job done,” Evans said in a statement. “Leader Scalise has been there every step of the way, ensuring our campaign had not just the financial support but also the backing we needed to compete and win.”
Miller-Meeks was given nearly $48,000, boosting the total she’s received from Scalise this cycle to just over $404,000.
Both Evans and Miller-Meeks are locked in competitive races this cycle. Evans only won his seat by less than 2,500 votes in 2024, while Miller-Meeks won by less than 1,000 votes.
Evans, who unseated Democratic Rep. Yadira Caraveo and is considered one of the most vulnerable Republicans this cycle, is set to face state Rep. Manny Rutinel in November.

Miller-Meeks will face former state Rep. Christina Bohannan, who is challenging her for the third time, in the general election.
“This is a tough seat to win and I could not do it alone,” Miller-Meeks said in a statement. “Leader Scalise has been a trusted partner and valued resource since Day One. He didn’t just help raise the funds our campaign needed to be competitive; Scalise invested his time, traveled to our district, and made sure we had the tools to execute a winning campaign. On all fronts, his support is instrumental in November’s victory.”
