Grizzly Industrial offers three new durable drill presses with variable speed powered by a variable-frequency drive (VFD) that offers smooth, high-torque variable speed via single-phase power. The variable-speed spindle has two speed ranges with digital readout for consistent, precise results. 

Specialized features such as laser guides and an LED work light come with all models, with additional advantages such as a spindle depth stop for consistent drilling results whether you are threading holes, countersinking, or performing other repetitive drilling tasks.

Variable-speed operation equips Grizzly's three new drill presses to effectively perform all drilling functions, with a speed dial that is simple to adjust based on material type or bit. The VFD offers precise speed control and energy efficiency, while providing the best possible results for every project.

This new series of variable-speed drill presses includes a 15" benchtop, 15" floor, and 17" floor models, so there is an option that works perfectly in every shop. Each drill press includes laser guides to ensure accuracy, an LED light for increased visibility, a chuck key holder for convenience, a spindle depth stop for consistency, and cast-iron construction for durability.  These machines are ideal for cabinetmaking, furniture building, and DIY projects such as mounting shelving and preparing doors for hardware installation.
