Jujutsu Kaisen is bringing one of its darkest story arcs to life, with the series revealing the first look and other major details for its latest production, which debuts later this year in Japan.
Per Animate Times , Jujutsu Kaisen is returning with a new stage play adapting the "Shibuya Incident Arc" from Gege Akutami’s manga. The arc will be adapted in two parts, with the first part, titled Stage Jujutsu Kaisen -Shibuya Incident Part 1- , scheduled to run at Shibuya LOVEZ in Tokyo from Nov. 14 to Nov. 23 and at Sky Theater MBS in Osaka on Nov. 28 and Nov. 29. Details regarding the second part have not yet been announced.
A new key visual for the stage production was released alongside the details about the cast and staff bringing the 2.5D adaptation to life. This project serves as the fifth installment of the Jujutsu Kaisen stage play series, which originally debuted in 2022 .
