Good morning, BBN!
Kentucky Football’s final weekend of official visits is underway, and while the Wildcats have a loaded group of prospects on campus, one visitor stands out above the rest: in-state wide receiver Tyler Fryman.
The Fort Mitchell (Ky.) Beechwood standout is someone Kentucky continues to heavily recruit and looks like the team to beat for the 4-star playmaker.
A Louisville baseball commit, Fryman is ranked as the No. 31 wide receiver in the 2027 class and the No. 203 overall prospect nationally according to 247 Sports.
Fryman put together an explosive junior season, hauling in 45 receptions for 1,023 yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 277 rushing yards and three more scores on the ground.
His baseball season recently wrapped up with a state tournament loss to Trinity, allowing him to focus on football recruiting.
The Wildcats already hold wide receiver commitments from Iveon Lewis and Austin Coles, but adding Fryman would give Will Stein and Kentucky’s new staff another major in-state recruiting win.
UK is also hosting 13 current commits this weekend, including quarterback Jake Nawrot, as the Wildcats continue building a 2027 recruiting class that currently ranks No. 20 nationally.
Stein and Co. have been cooking. Will they land the highly-touted in-state recruit?
