Tarik Skubal pitched five scoreless innings Sunday in his first minor league rehabilitation appearance since undergoing elbow surgery in May. The Tigers ace struck out six and allowed just two hits for Single-A West Michigan against Dayton, throwing 44 strikes out of 54 pitches. The 29-year-old left-hander, a two-time Cy Young Award winner, had a non-invasive procedure to remove a loose body from his throwing elbow last month.
