Booker T. basketball's Jada and Jaden Clardy transfer to DME Academy

Two of the Pensacola area's best basketball players will finish their high school careers elsewhere. Twins Jada and Jaden Clardy, who were set to enter their junior years at Booker T. Washington next month, have both transferred to DME Academy in Daytona Beach. The pair announced their transfers on their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday. Jada Clardy averaged 14.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 steals per game last year while helping the Wildcats win their first girls basketball state championship since 2000. The 5-foot-11-inch guard was named PNJ Player of the Year after being named PNJ Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.
