Closets by Design expands to Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Closets by Design expanded its presence in Colorado with a new location in Colorado Springs. According to the company, the addition marks continued growth for the custom storage and organization franchise, which is actively seeking qualified candidates to bring its custom home organization solutions to communities across the country.

The territory will be owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Brian and Erica Schipke, long-time Colorado Springs residents who are bringing personalized closet, garage, pantry and home organization solutions to the state's second-largest city. 

The expansion into Colorado Springs reflects Closets by Design's broader strategy of entering markets with strong residential activity and sustained demand for custom home organization solutions through locally owned franchises, the company said.

Prior to joining Closets by Design, Brian and Erica built careers centered on leadership, operations and customer service. Brian spent years working in Silicon Valley, where he developed a strong operational mindset and a passion for building things that work. Erica brings a complementary set of skills and expertise in customer experience and organizational management. In looking for an opportunity to start a family-owned business, they explored several franchise concepts before ultimately choosing Closets by Design for its established reputation, creative service offerings and strong support system.

 “What really stood out to us was how well this business aligned with both of our strengths,” said Erica Schipke. “I enjoy the design and customer experience side, while Brian thrives in woodworking and team management. We’re both passionate about helping people improve their homes and daily lives, so this feels like a great first step into business ownership for us.”

 Having lived in Colorado Springs since 1995, the couple is eager to build a business in the community they have called home for decades. Through their franchise, they hope to provide high-quality organization solutions, build lasting relationships with local families and contribute to the area’s continued growth.
