Game of Thrones had some intense battle scenes back in the day, many of which put star Kit Harington front and center as Jon Snow. The bastard of Winterfell and later Lord Commander of the Night's Watch was either defending Castle Black from wildlings, Winterfell from the Night King's army, or being suffocated by his own men and Ramsay Bolton's in the Battle of the Bastards. Filming these scenes would feel so real that Harington had to use a safe word: "banana."
