An incredibly niche Hatsune Miku game is officially making a comeback, and it is only a few months away.
Per Essential Japan, developer Crypton Future Media has officially announced the return of the hit Graphy Collection series of mobile games with the upcoming Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet Re:Merge . Currently slated for release on iOS and Android devices in Japan this Fall, the game will star all six of Piapro's iconic Vocaloids, including Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, Meiko, Kaito, and, of course, Hatsune Miku herself.
Although gameplay footage and details for Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet Re:Merge have yet to be released, fans are assuming the title will play out similarly to the original Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet . Released in 2014, the original game was a card-based RPG that featured a tile-based overworld which belied its surprisingly deep customization features.
Many fans of Hatsune Miku are hoping that the upcoming release of Hatsune Miku Graphy Collection Mystery Music Planet Re:Merge will lead to an international release of the title. Although the classic game was popular in Japan for the better part of a decade, a Western release never materialized. And, while fans will have to wait until 2027 to dive into Hatsune Miku Starry Party for themselves, they can still find their favorite Vocaloid elsewhere in the gaming sphere.
