A Town Mouse visited his cousin in the country and sniffed at the plain meal of beans and grain. He invited the Country Mouse to the city to taste real luxury. They feasted on fine food in a grand house, but every few minutes had to flee snapping cats and servants. The Country Mouse said farewell: he preferred his simple, peaceful meal to such frightening splendor.

Moral: Better a little in safety than abundance in fear.
