Verizon is giving away free 2026 FIFA World Cup tickets on June 22. There's also a contest to go to the final match and meet David Beckham.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is well into its second week, but there's still a chance for you to score free tickets to a match.
Verizon, which is the official telecommunication services sponsor for the event, has been giving away World Cup tickets over the past eight months.
Verizon mobile and home internet customers will get a chance to win hundreds of "last chance" tickets on Monday, June 22, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. At that time, tickets to a dozen upcoming matches will become available in the new Verizon Shine loyalty program.
You can also enter a sweepstakes to win an all-expense paid trip to New York for a VIP Event with David Beckham and tickets to the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
And mark your calendars. On Wednesday, July 8, Verizon will drop 120 tickets to the FIFA World Cup Final in Verizon Shine. Verizon launched its new loyalty program on June 16, along with a new simple mobile plan and another for home and mobile internet.

Verizon customers can opt into the Verizon Shine loyalty program through the My Verizon app (you can get more information on the Verizon website).
Then on Monday, June 22, at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT go to the app and try to claim tickets. The giveaway is on a first-come, first-served basis; travel and accommodations are not included. The tickets Verizon is giving away are for Round of 16 or later matches in these cities:

It could pay off to check the Verizon Shine weekly as the company plans to have special giveaways every Monday, including concert tickets with meet and greet opportunities, as well as other travel, food, culture and sports experiences.
