Shokz upgraded its open earbuds with better sound and a lighter design
Article excerpt
Shokz has released two new versions of its open-ear earbuds, the OpenDots 2 and OpenDots Air, building on the original OpenDots One from May 2025. Both models clip onto the back of the ear with drivers angled to project sound toward the ear canal without blocking it, a design the company positions as more comfortable than traditional in-ear buds. The upgrades focus on improved sound quality and a lighter, presumably more comfortable form factor.
