MillerKnoll Recognized on TIME America’s Best Companies 2026 List

ZEELAND, Mich., MillerKnoll has been named to TIME America’s Best Companies list, "reflecting its strong culture and commitment to driving innovation and sustainability."

This honor builds on recent recognitions from Fortune, Newsweek, EcoVadis, USA Today, and Civic 50, illustrating MillerKnoll’s leadership in fostering an exceptional employee experience and advancing sustainability initiatives.

“At MillerKnoll we believe great design begins with great people, and our recognition by TIME is a testament to the dedication of our associates who are designing a better world for our customers, communities, and one another,” commented Jeff Stutz, interim CEO of MillerKnoll.          

Across its global collective of brands, MillerKnoll prioritizes initiatives that advance its sustainability goals and foster an engaged, purpose-driven workplace. To support a more sustainable future, the company is pursuing efforts to reduce operational emissions, increase transparency through environmental reporting, and innovate with product design and material development. MillerKnoll has also achieved 100 percent renewable electricity sourcing across its global manufacturing operations via a combination of on-site generation and renewable energy certificates.

Through philanthropic partnerships organized by the MillerKnoll Foundation and company-wide volunteer initiatives, MillerKnoll also provides opportunities for employees to give back to the community. One example is its Global Day of Purpose, an annual day off granted to employees to give back. The company encourages employees to participate in and lead Business Resource Groups, committees focused on common experiences or interests. It also recognizes associates with 20 or more years of service through its Watercarrier program.

The TIME America’s Best Companies list was identified based on three key criteria: employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency. Feedback was gathered from more than 200,000 workers on companies in the United States that generated over $100 million in revenue during the last fiscal year.
