Pulisic hoped to make a bigger impact in the second frame. But he would be forced off the field after less than a quarter of an hour, having been felled by an apparent lower-body injury beforehand.

Christian Pulisic injury updates
Pulisic exited Monday's contest in the 59th minute, moments after crumbling to the ground following a collision with Youri Tielemans. Pulisic crept towards the outside of the box before attempting a shot. As he brought his right foot forward to take the strike, he struck Tielemans.
Pulisic was on the pitch when Belgium found its third after a calamitous error from Matt Freese. He was taken out of the game after the ball found the back of the net, exiting in favor of Sebastian Berhalter.
USMNT personnel looked to tending to a lower-body injury when he took to the bench. Pulisic sunk his face into his jersey as they worked on whatever issue was plaguing him.
