Craig Farquhar, a defender who previously played for Crystal Palace, has joined Barnet on a free transfer. The Northern Ireland Under-21 international adds defensive depth to the English Football League club. The move represents an opportunity for Farquhar to continue his career at the professional level following his time in the Palace academy system.

Barnet have signed former Crystal Palace defender Craig Farquhar on a free transfer.
The 23-year-old Northern Ireland Under-21 player moved to the Premier League side's academy setup in January 2024 but did not break into the Palace first team.
He began his career at Ballyemena United and went on to sign for Larne, playing in a Champions League qualifier before moving to England.
Farquhar is Barnet's second new signing of the summer after former Crewe Alexandra defender Zac Williams joined on a free transfer earlier this week.
"Craig's a player we've looked at bringing to the club on several occasions over the last 12 months," manager Dean Brennan told the club website.
"We've known about him for a long time and we've got a great rapport with Crystal Palace.
"We're excited Craig's decided to join us. He's got good presence, reads the game really well, he's physical and has good footballing IQ."
