Stephen King's 108-Minute Dystopian Thriller Is the Perfect The Mist Replacement

There are Stephen King adaptations, and then there is The Mist. The 2007 Frank Darabont movie translated King’s novella into what could have been a cut-and-dry imagining. Instead, the director responsible for The Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile outdid himself, thanks to the brutal ending of the story. The Mist is remembered as one of the bleakest films from the King collection, and for good reason.
